Hello, my name is Christine Otte and I am the owner of Otte Consulting and Support.  I began this company because I love the work.  By nature, I am a very strategic and efficient person, always finding ways to get more done in less time, with a bigger return on my investment.  I am also passionate about marketing and customer service, and I prefer to work with small to medium sized businesses, because I find the owners to be passionate about their work as well.

After several years in marketing management, I considered becoming a marketing consultant, but as I got to know more and more business owners, I realized that small business owners need  more than advice.  They need support.  Marketing plans and ideas are nice, but if the business owner doesn't have the time or expertise to implement them effectively, the results are disappointing.

At Otte Consulting and Support, LLC our aim is provide a comprehensive solution for growth, by helping the owner find efficiencies in managing their business, so that the business has room to grow.  Then, we work to generate growth by solidifying the existing customer base and attracting new customers.  Not only do we offer advice in these areas, but we provide real support, working side-by-side with our clients to implement processes, programs and promotions for the best results.

Below are some of our fundamental beliefs about promoting and managing a business:

Attracting Customers -

  • Before we can attract the customers you want, we must clarify how clients benefit from working with you, and what sets you apart from your competition (your unique selling proposition).  Then, we must determine who your ideal client is.  Once we know these things, we can decide on the most cost effective ways to reach your target customers. 

 

  • Marketing is not about expensive ads, beautiful graphics or clever tag-lines.  Marketing is about finding the right avenue to introduce yourself or your business to those who can benefit from your services.  It doesn't have to be expensive.  It has to be targeted.  

Creating Loyalty -

  • Customer service will make or break a business.  Loyal customers are the foundation of a business, generating regular revenue and referring new business.  Clients must feel valued, and if possible, they should be rewarded for their loyalty.

 

Managing Efficiently

  • No one can do everything, at least not well, and not for long.  Effectively streamlining processes and delegating non-executive level tasks, frees up a business owner to do the most important work of leading his company into the future.  Efficiency is key to success, both in terms of time and money, but one must know how to let go and maintain control at the same time.
